Welcome to our guide on using the Communications Tool in Digital Childcare. 


In this tutorial, we will walk you through the features and functionalities of this tool, which is designed to streamline communication between administrators, educators, and families. Let's get started!




Begin by navigating to the Communications tab.

In this section, you'll find communications from educators, parents, or administrators.






 

When you want to share a message, click on "New Post."





A new box will appear where you can include a message and a subject to help filter through messages at a later time.







Before sending your message, be sure to click on "Recipients" to select who you would like to see the message. 


Share posts with families, educators, admin, or everyone at once.










Messages can be shared as notifications, emails, or a combination of both. Additionally, the sender can choose to disable comments if necessary. 


When the "Comments Require Approval" option is checked, all comments made on that post will need approval before being shared.


Lastly, there is an option to upload a document or picture. 

















When ready, click "Post" to share your message.









Clicking on this symbol allows users to go back and edit or delete a message if needed.











If necessary, users can filter through the posts by room, child, or educator to easily find the needed information.
