Create a Classroom

In this guide, we'll walk you through the process of creating a new classroom to accurately represent the programs offered at your centre.

You will be able to create multiple classrooms for a single program.

As always, let's start from our main dashboard and navigate to the 'My Centre' tab. 

From there, click on 'Rooms,' which will lead you to the main page displaying all the available rooms at your centre.

In this demonstration, we currently have one room available for the toddlers program. Now, let's proceed to create a room for the preschool program.

Here, you will input all the necessary information to establish a room for one of your programs.

You will be able to include the ratio in accordance with the guidelines outlined by the ministry.

Once all the information has been filled out, click on "Create classroom."

In the rooms main page, you will find a list of all the classrooms in your centre.

If you need to filter through the programs, click on the filter symbol next to 'Program.' Select the program you would like to view and then press 'Ok'.

To view all the rooms at once, click the filter symbol again, choose reset, and press 'Ok'.

Each room will have an "Actions" button. Let's review what this tab offers.

Clicking on 'View' will provide you with an overview of the enrollment in this classroom. 

You will also see the educators assigned to the classroom, families information, and a brief description of the program.

The "Edit" button will allow you to make any changes to the room. When you're finished, click 'Update Classroom.'
