Welcome to our guide on using the Digital Childcare mobile app for attendance tracking! 


This guide will help admins and educators easily track attendance for their classrooms, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping. 


Let's dive in and explore how to make the most of this powerful tool!




Let's start by confirming we're in the correct room. The classroom name will be displayed at the top of the screen. If you need to change it, click on the arrow and select the correct room.


             



To access the classroom attendance, click on the "Attendance" tab located at the bottom of the screen.



















When signing in a child, click on "Check In."


                                         






















A new window will appear where educators can complete a wellness check.












If a child seems well, simply click on "Fine." 

However, when an educator selects "Sick" or "Injured" on the wellness check screen, a new window will appear.




Here, indicate the child's current health condition. When completed, click "Next."























Once the wellness check has been completed, educators will need to sign off and click "OK."




Now the child has been signed into the program.






















Some key areas to note on this screen are the three icons located under the date.




The green box will indicate how many children are currently in attendance.


The red box will indicate how many children have been signed out of the attendance.


The 'X' will indicate how many children were absent for the day.
















When it's time to sign a child out, click on "Check out".
























This new screen will appear where educators can indicate who is picking up the child. 


If it's one of the authorized pickups, simply click on the name and it will prompt the educator to sign off on the pick up.


                   



Now, the child has been signed out of the program.


                   












If an individual is picking up the child just once, switch to one-time pickups and then click "+New one-time pickup".



                                     


Enter the individual's name and then sign off when prompted.
























If a child will be absent from the program, start by clicking the "Absent" tab.


 

                                         























A new window will appear, allowing educators to indicate the reason for the absence. Once entered, they will be prompted to sign off.














On the main attendance screen, it will then display the child as absent, including the time it was logged and the reason.



























With these simple steps, you're now equipped to efficiently manage classroom attendance using the Digital Childcare mobile app. Stay organized and keep track of attendance effortlessly.
