Creating an Educator Schedule

This guide will provide administrators with step-by-step instructions on how to use Digital Childcare's scheduling tools.


By streamlining the scheduling process, you can ensure optimal staff coverage, compliance with regulations, and better communication within your team. 


Follow these steps to create, adjust, and manage educator schedules efficiently.






Let's start by going to the schedule tab and selecting "Calendar" from the dropdown menu.













 








In the calendar view, the admin can see the children's or educators' schedules. Today, we will focus on inputting the educators' schedules.






Let's start by switching to the educators' view by clicking on "Educator."





Next, select the room for the schedule by clicking the arrow and choosing from the drop-down box.





Before entering the educators' schedules, ensure the correct week is set. To adjust, click on the calendar symbol or use the arrows to change the displayed week.





Now, click on "Educator Schedule," and a new window will appear.






Fill in all the required information, and once finished, click "Create."



The educator's schedule will now appear in the calendar view. Continue clicking the "Educator's Schedule" tab to complete the process.







Admins can download a copy of the schedule by clicking the "Download Room Schedule" tab.









To edit an educator's schedule, click on the selected date.








 



In this new window, admins can delete or edit the schedule as needed.

















Clicking the "Edit" tab will bring the admin to this window where they can adjust the educator's schedule. Once the information is corrected, click on "Update."
